3. Cookies

KAPS uses cookies to help its website function smoothly on your computer or machine. A cookie is a text-only string of information that a website stores as a small file on your computer’s hard disk or any storage device, so that, for example, the website can know what stage you were at on your last visit. A typical use in the KAPS website is when you visit KAPS Service and expand its details to see description; the expansion continues to exist when you come back on the same page on the same day (no need to click and expand again). The typical life of a cookie is 24 hours, after which it expires automatically. A cookie will typically contain the name of the domain from which the cookie has come, the “lifetime” of the cookie, and a value, usually a randomly generated unique number.
Cookies can have other uses, which we may implement in future:
to access your information when you sign in, to provide customised content or to remember the last page you visited;
to keep track of preferences you specified while using KAPS services;
to display the most appropriate advertising banners and content for your interests and activity;

to conduct research to improve the KAPS website’s contents, courses and services;
to support security measures such as requiring re-logging in when necessary;
to market products or services after a certain amount of time has elapsed;
to assist in identifying possible fraudulent activities.
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set.
